Father Ryan Moravitz was ordained in Duluth on Friday, June 20th. PJ and Ellie drove up for the ceremony. Over 500 people attended, busses arrived from Ely, Babbitt, and Brainard. Ryan wore vestments that were worn by the Pope on the final day of the World Youth Rally held in Denver a few years back. About fifty priests were at the ceremony, one from Rome and one from Belgium. The following morning a Thanksgiving ceremony was held in Ely, followed by lunch and a polka dance. It was truly something to see! Ryan is probably the best thing that has happened to the Catholic Church since Shelly changed catholic.

It would really be wrong to let that comment about the Catholic church go by unanswered, but I can't think of anything sarcastic to say! I guess I will just have to say that it made me laugh. Just for the record, when Micah and Emma turn Catholic their arrival will surpass all of you in importance!
