Amanda Joy - 4 1/2 Months

Here are a few new pictures. Amanda loves chewing on her fingers - and to her way of thinking, two hands are better than one! (The last picture has nothing to do with sucking on her fingers, but I just thought it was so cute that I had to include it.)

Introducing Amanda Joy Heubner - born on April 23, 2008 @ 3:16 pm - 7 lbs, 11 oz.

Amanda means "she who must be loved" - and that sure is true! She's been a huge hit throughout our whole church and with all of our friends. And, of course, Mommy and Daddy are smitten!

Her middle name, Joy, is true as well. She smiles and coos and "talks" up a storm! She brings her mommy and daddy lots of joy.

She is now just over 2 months old. She is alert and active - and even rolled over this week!

With all the changes in our lives: Jacob's new job as a technology consultant, miss Amanda Joy's arrival, and Sandy's new role as a stay-at-home mom, as well as all the things we are still involved in, life continues to be very busy. We've had lots of visits by relatives and friends and are truly enjoying being parents for the first time. Thanks again to everyone for all your prayers, thoughts, gifts, and blessings!
